Adam's Interests:
General:
My overall goal is to save the world from its own inherent insanity. I'm a big dreamer. ^_^
Health:
I survive on a
vegetarian diet of eggs, noodles,
fruits and vegetables, soy milk and toast. I don't eat sugar, but I use a lot of
stevia.
I work out three days a week. In the summer I like to roller blade.
Music
I'm pretty finicky about music, but I like
Radiohead,
MGMT,
Azure Ray,
some emo, some Jpop, some 60's music from the
Beatles,
Doors
and others, and some Canadian Indie. I like songs rather than bands.
Movies
Some of my fave movies are
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,
Kiki's Delivery Service,
Good Will Hunting,
Bladerunner,
Lost in Translation,
The Bourne Identity,
Elisabethtown,
The Matrix(1),
Happy Gilmore,
Galaxy Quest,
Lord of the Rings(1),
The Cat Returns,
The Fifth Element,
Almost Famous,
Chronicles of Riddick and
Pirates of the Caribbean 2.
Games
I like European Board games! Favorites are
Settlers of Catan
(with Seafarers Expansion),
Carcassonne,
Tikal, and
Mexica.
For video games, my favorites are
Final Fantasy X and
Tactics Advance (all),
Zelda games
and
Okami.
Wii
is awesome! But I'm waiting 'til fall for the really cool games to come out.
Television
I don't watch TV. But I download some things! Especially 'Heroes', 'The Tudors' and
'Rome'.
And I like TV series on DVD -- my favorites are
Buffy the Vampire Slayer and
Serenity.
Books
I've read several Neil Gaiman novels lately, including 'Fragile Things', 'Smoke and Mirrors', 'Coraline' and 'Stardust.' I also
like fantasy and sci-fi. I've read 'The Diamond Age' and 'Snow Crash' by Neil Stephenson. Almost anything by Philip K. Dick is good.
Computers
I'm a computer geek. I can build computers from parts, and fix any type of computer
problem from hardware to software. I design web pages in HTML/javascript, and I can
program in Tcl/Tk. If you can't survive without a computer, I can save your life!
Poetry
I like a lot of poets who wrote before 1920, and a little bit of modern poetry.
I've written a lot of my own poems -- here is a link to my
Poetry Page.
Groups
The Plan Canada
- Foster Parents Plan. I foster a child in Kenya.
Society for Creative Anachronism
- Social group for creative people. I do fencing, dancing, and just general fun stuff.
OATH Society
- High IQ society. I'm a member.

Adam's Blurbs
About me:
Nexus-4 model Tech Specialist, no termination date. Language programming limited to
Terran English, memory is sporadic, irrational logic causes head pain. CPU runs very
hot but short-circuits occasionally. Can operate under extreme
conditions for days at a time. Requires vegetable-based protein. Do not immerse in
water.
Who I'd like to meet:
Seeking a general-purpose female android with a shiny gun-metal
finish who knows social protocol and can speak at least 250 languages including
English and Galactic. If she can also repair land-speeders and
communicate with satellites, that would be an extra bonus but not entirely necessary.
Oh, I almost forgot, she should also be loving, kind, and a non-smoker.
Thank you.

Adam is like Lucifer except that instead of being filled with evil he is filled
with laughing gas and eggs. Which one would YOU be more afraid of?

I don't know... he's kinda scary. Like, he has these giant spiders, and he pets them.
And he burns things... I don't like smoke, so I try to avoid the kitchen when he's cooking....
